Key Responsibilities:
Design and engineer Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and structural steel systems.
Prepare and review design calculations, GA drawings and structural drawings.
Perform analysis and design of primary and secondary steel members.
Design columns, rafters, purlins, girts, bracings and connections as per project requirements.
Ensure designs comply with relevant IS codes and project specifications.
Coordinate with Detailing, Estimation, Production and Project teams.
Review fabrication/erection drawings and resolve technical queries.
Ensure designs meet requirements related to strength, stability, serviceability and constructability.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of PEB and structural steel design.
Proficiency in STAAD.Pro / similar structural analysis software.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD; Tekla knowledge is an advantage.
Good understanding of IS 800, IS 875 and relevant Indian Standards.
Knowledge of steel connections, load calculations and structural analysis.
