Senior Commodity Buyer

YIBI Precision provides precision manufacturing capabilities across metal components, engineering development, tooling, process optimization, and production.
We are looking for a Commodity Buyer – Metal Components to manage sourcing activities across metal materials, components, and manufacturing-related categories.
Responsibilities
Source and evaluate suppliers for metal components and materials.
Manage RFQ processes and supplier negotiations.
Analyze quotations, cost structures, lead times, and supplier capabilities.
Develop sourcing strategies for assigned commodity categories.
Build and maintain supplier relationships.
Work with engineering teams to understand technical requirements.
Support supplier selection for new products and production programs.
Monitor supplier performance across cost, delivery, quality, and responsiveness.
Identify cost reduction and supply chain improvement opportunities.
Track relevant market and material developments.
Support commercial terms and supplier agreements.
Identify sourcing risks and support supplier diversification.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Procurement, or a related field.
Experience in sourcing, purchasing, commodity management, or supplier development.
Understanding of metal components, materials, or manufacturing processes.
Strong negotiation and cost-analysis capabilities.
Ability to evaluate suppliers from commercial and operational perspectives.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
