Role Description This remote internship role for a Data Analyst focuses on supporting data-driven decision-making across healthcare operations and medical travel services. The intern will collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, including patient journeys, hospital partnerships, and operational processes. Daily tasks include performing exploratory data analysis, generating dashboards and reports, and identifying trends and patterns that can improve service efficiency, patient experience, and cost optimization. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into actionable insights, assist in measuring key performance indicators, and support the development of business analytics models. The position requires proactive communication, attention to detail, and a strong interest in healthcare and technology-enabled services.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
Foundational knowledge in Data Analytics and Business Analytics, including use of analytical frameworks and methodologies.
Understanding of Analytics concepts and Statistics, such as descriptive analysis, correlation, and basic hypothesis testing.
Familiarity with spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and at least one data analysis or visualization tool (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power BI, Tableau) is beneficial.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work independently in a remote environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Interest in healthcare, medical travel, or digital health solutions; prior exposure to healthcare data or operations is an advantage.
