Camino Search has been retained to appoint a CFO for a private equity backed software group entering its next phase of growth.
The business has grown quickly through acquisition and is now profitable, recurring and serving enterprise customers internationally. The next stage is about scale: more acquisitions, stronger organic growth and a bigger presence in North America.
The finance function needs to grow with it. This is a hire for someone who wants to build rather than inherit.

Group finance structure across multiple operating businesses
A repeatable integration approach for every acquisition
Treasury and cash management across entities and geographies
Billing, revenue recognition and collections
A modern finance stack with genuine AI adoption
Lender and investor relationships, covenants and board reporting
Tax and multi-jurisdiction compliance
Readiness for a future capital event
Who it suits
CFO experience in a multi-entity, PE-backed software business
Hands-on experience integrating acquired businesses
Strong command of SaaS metrics
Ideally, experience supporting or leading through an exit or refinancing
Comfortable in the detail with a lean team
