As an EB International Intern, you'll work alongside experienced Relationship Managers to understand how OCBC serves clients across Greater China, ASEAN, and international markets. How You Succeed
To excel in this role, you'll need to be curious, analytical, and commercially minded. You'll work closely with senior bankers and business stakeholders to conduct market research, support business development initiatives, and analyse industry trends. Your ability to synthesise information, present insights effectively, and collaborate across teams will be key to supporting strategic decision-making and delivering value to clients.
What You Do
Your responsibilities will include:
Market & Industry Research: support the EB International team in conducting research on key growth corridors, including Greater China-ASEAN flows, ASEAN businesses, and international businesses expanding into Asia
Business Intelligence: analyse industry developments, market trends, and emerging opportunities to support business planning and client acquisition strategies
Partnership & Marketing Support: collaborate with partnership teams to develop and refine marketing materials, industry propositions, and tailored banking solutions across different markets
New Industry Studies: conduct research on emerging industries, evolving business trends, and growth sectors across the regions that the team covers
Presentation Development: prepare research reports, management presentations, and business materials to support stakeholder discussions and client engagements
Cross-Border Banking Support: gain exposure to banking solutions that support cross-border transactions, international trade, and lending opportunities
Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on strategic initiatives, business development activities, and other assignments as required
Who You Work With
Global Commercial Banking partners businesses at every stage of growth, providing financing solutions and banking services that enable them to expand locally and internationally. Within the EB International team, you'll work alongside Relationship Managers and senior bankers who support clients across Greater China, ASEAN, and other international markets. You'll gain valuable exposure to cross-border banking, international business development, and the diverse needs of multinational and regional corporates.
Who You Are
Open to learning and feedback
Strong research and analytical skills
Curious about international business, cross-border banking, and global markets
Strong communication and presentation skills
Comfortable conducting market research and analysing business trends
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Basic analytics skills; familiarity with VBA or data analysis tools would be advantageous
Background in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or related disciplines
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
