About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and develop a team of structural engineering professionals within a growing Value Engineering function.
This role offers a balance of people leadership and technical engineering, with a strong focus on building a high-performing team, developing engineers and ensuring high-quality engineering delivery.
What You'll Do
Lead, mentor and develop a team of structural engineers.
Manage team performance, objectives, workload and career development.
Coach engineers and build a strong technical and collaborative team culture.
Provide technical guidance and ensure quality of engineering deliverables.
Oversee structural design, BIM modelling and engineering documentation.
Support projects involving steel structures, pipe racks, MEP supports, data centres and similar engineering applications.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer and project requirements.
Support technical responses to RFIs, RFPs and RFQs.
Coordinate engineering activities, project priorities, timelines and deliverables.
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and solutions.
What You'll Bring
Master's degree in Structural Engineering
10–12 years of relevant structural engineering experience.
Strong hands-on experience in steel structure design.
Proven experience managing and developing engineering teams.
Strong coaching and mentoring mindset.
Experience with Revit and Navisworks.
Experience with structural analysis/design tools such as STAAD, ASTABS or equivalent.
Experience in pipe racks, MEP supports, data centres or similar projects is highly desirable.
Good understanding of BIM and EPC environments.
Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand both technical and commercial aspects of engineering delivery.
Good to Have
Experience with Profis MSC or similar engineering design tools.
Experience with BIM 360, Inventor, Vault or I-Logic.
Exposure to E3D / S3D or plant design.
Experience working with international/global engineering teams.
