About Position:
We are seeking an experienced Android Framework Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of next-generation Android-based products and platforms. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Android Framework internals, AOSP customization, HAL development, and native Android systems programming.

What You'll Do:
Develop, customize, and enhance Android Framework components and core system services.
Work on AOSP platform development, customization, integration, and maintenance activities.
Design and implement Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) modules for device-specific functionality.
Develop and maintain JNI interfaces between Java Framework layers and native C/C++ components.
Customize Android platform services based on product requirements.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Android framework and system-level issues.
Collaborate with hardware, BSP, kernel, and application teams to ensure seamless integration.
Optimize Android platform performance, memory utilization, and system stability.
Implement new framework features and device-specific enhancements.
Debug and resolve system integration, boot-up, performance, and device compatibility issues.
Participate in architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
Develop unit tests and validation procedures for framework-level components.
Maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and implementation guides.
Ensure compliance with Android platform standards and best practices.
Support software releases and platform upgrade activities.
Expertise You'll Bring:
10-15 years of software development experience with significant experience in Android platform development.
Strong hands-on expertise in Android Framework development.
Extensive experience with AOSP architecture, customization, and platform integration.
Strong programming skills in Java, C, and C++.
Good understanding of JNI (Java Native Interface) concepts and implementation.
Experience designing and developing HAL modules for Android devices.
Strong knowledge of Android system architecture and framework internals.
Experience working with Android system services, Binder IPC, and native services.
Knowledge of Android build systems and platform compilation processes.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills at framework and system levels.
Experience working with Linux-based development environments.
Understanding of Android boot sequence, startup services, and runtime components.
Familiarity with device drivers, kernel interactions, and BSP integration.
Experience with Android performance tuning and memory optimization.
Knowledge of Android security architecture and permission models.
Experience using Git and version control systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working in Agile software development environments.
