Role Description The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions that support KP Group’s renewable energy and engineering platforms. Responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, building and optimizing back-end services and APIs, integrating third-party systems, and ensuring high performance and reliability. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, perform code reviews, and mentor junior engineers. The Senior Software Engineer will also participate in architectural discussions, implement best practices for security and testing, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Surat, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience in modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or similar).
Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.
Solid understanding and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience with cloud platforms, version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
Ability to analyze complex problems, write high-quality technical documentation, and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Background in energy, industrial, or infrastructure domains is an advantage, as well as experience in scalable, high-availability systems.
