Role Description The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building a strong sales pipeline, and nurturing long-term client relationships in the commercial interior design and AI solutions space. This full-time, on-site role is based in Gurugram and involves meeting prospective clients, conducting presentations and product demos, and tailoring proposals to industry-specific needs such as corporate offices, coworking spaces, hospitality, retail, and healthcare. The role includes coordinating with design and AI teams to translate client requirements into feasible solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring smooth handover to project delivery teams. The Business Development Manager will monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to refine go-to-market strategies and contribute to revenue growth. Regular reporting on sales performance, forecasting, and participation in industry events and networking activities are integral to the position.
Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in interior design, architecture, real estate, SaaS, or AI-driven solutions.
Strong skills in lead generation, pipeline management, client relationship building, and contract negotiation.
Ability to understand and communicate technical and design concepts, including AI-enabled tools, 3D visualizations, and data-driven design solutions.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
Analytical mindset with experience in market research, competitor analysis, and sales forecasting.
Comfort working cross-functionally with design, architecture, product, and technology teams to deliver client-centric solutions.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and organized, with strong time management and documentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
Familiarity with CRM tools, sales reporting software, and standard office productivity tools.
