Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and growth-oriented Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a technology-enabled, multi-format Pharmacy Retail business and drive its next phase of business expansion, operational excellence and organizational growth.
The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving sustainable business growth, managing end-to-end P&L, and building a scalable and high-performing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the overall business strategy aligned with the organization's growth objectives.
Own end-to-end P&L, revenue growth, profitability and business performance.
Lead the expansion of the retail pharmacy store network across markets.
Drive new store development, market expansion and franchise development through COCO, FOCO and FICO models.
Develop and implement strategies for multi-state retail expansion.
Lead omnichannel pharmacy retail operations, integrating physical stores with digital channels.
Strengthen commercial performance, customer acquisition, market presence and operational efficiency.
Oversee supply chain, procurement, inventory management and retail operations.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, business partners and franchisees.
Develop and lead high-performing cross-functional teams and strengthen organizational capabilities.
Establish appropriate governance, processes, systems and performance-management mechanisms to support scalable growth.
Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to strengthen the company's market position.
Drive operational excellence, cost optimization and continuous improvement across the business.
Provide regular strategic and business performance updates to the Board/Promoters.
Support investor relations, capital-market initiatives and IPO-readiness activities, where applicable.
Required Experience & Qualifications
15–20+ years of overall professional experience, with significant experience in senior business leadership roles.
Strong track record in pharmacy retail chain expansion and new store development.
Hands-on experience in franchise development and expansion through COCO/FOCO/FICO models.
Strong understanding of omnichannel retail operations and multi-state business expansion.
Demonstrated experience in P&L management, business strategy, commercial operations and organizational leadership.
Experience in building and managing large, cross-functional teams.
Strong stakeholder-management, negotiation and business-development capabilities.
Exposure to investor relations, capital markets and IPO readiness will be an added advantage.
Preferred Background
Candidates with a strong track record of pharmacy retail chain expansion, particularly in new store development, franchise network development through COCO/FOCO/FICO models, multi-state expansion and omnichannel retail, will be preferred.
