Samridhi Infotech is hiring for a fast-growing EdTech and digital learning services company. It is a carve-out of an established IT services firm with 22 years of heritage, and has 500+ team members. The company builds LMS and CMS platforms, custom software and cloud solutions. It also delivers learning experience design, accessibility and media development, K-12 and higher-education services, and publishing and prepress work for publishers, universities and corporate learning teams.
About the role
We are looking for a Lead Automation Engineer to strengthen and scale our digital content production and publishing workflows. You will design and build automation that removes repetitive manual effort, speeds up delivery and protects content quality. You will work closely with editorial, production and technology teams, and you will be trusted to spot problems, fix them at the root and flag risks early.
Key responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain automation solutions for digital content production and publishing workflows
Write and manage scripts that automate repetitive tasks and streamline operations
Work with structured content and data formats to support content transformation and delivery
Troubleshoot workflow issues, find root causes and put lasting fixes in place
Partner with editorial, production and technology teams for smooth project execution
Monitor publishing workflows and proactively communicate risks, dependencies and bottlenecks
Maintain quality standards across the content lifecycle
Drive process improvement and recommend new automation opportunities
What we are looking for
8-10 years of relevant experience in automation, digital publishing, content operations or a related field
B.E./B.Tech or a relevant degree
Scripting experience in JavaScript, Python, Node.js or ExtendScript
Strong working knowledge of JSON and CSV, and of XML-based formats such as DITA XML
Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
Experience with digital content creation, transformation and publishing workflows
Familiarity with content management systems and publishing pipelines
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong verbal and written communication, and comfort working in cross-functional teams
Good to have
Experience in digital, educational or content production environments
Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and its scripting
Familiarity with workflow automation tools and content transformation processes
Experience working with XML-based publishing systems
