Job Description
To lead laboratory microbiology operations and manages testing and research tems and ensure all microbiological procedures to meet safety and regulatory standards.
To oversee complex microbial testing and environmental monitoring and saample analysis.
To review test interpretations and approve data and report findings to stakeholders.
Supervise microbiological testing and diagnostic procedures.
Interpret culture, sensitivity, and other microbiology reports.
Assist clinicians in diagnosis and management of infectious diseases.
Ensure quality control and accuracy of laboratory results.
Guide laboratory staff in microbiological procedures and protocols.
Monitor infection control and antimicrobial resistance patterns.
Maintain proper laboratory records and documentation.
Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and regulatory standards.
Coordinate with clinicians and other departments regarding test results.
