A compelling portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, scalable design principles, and polished interfaces is essential. Hands-on experience with AI design and prototyping tools such as Figma AI, Cursor, Claude, or similar platforms is highly desirable. You should be confident in conducting independent user research, including recruiting participants, facilitating usability testing, and synthesizing insights into strategic recommendations.
Technical proficiency in HTML, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript is required, enabling effective communication with engineering teams and the ability to contribute to development when necessary. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are crucial for articulating design rationale, influencing stakeholders, and mentoring team members. A proactive, collaborative mindset and a passion for innovation in AI-driven design are key attributes for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Own and continuously improve Simpro’s design system and component library, establishing standards that guide product development teams in building consistent interfaces.
