SOC Trainer Advanced Tools

We are seeking a hands-on, passionate Cybersecurity Technical Trainer to mentor and guide our cybersecurity interns through an industry-level SOC & Cyber Defense training program. In this role, you will lead 1-hour daily live training & doubt-clearing sessions, delivering practical exposure to enterprise-grade SOC, XDR, Cloud Security, SIEM, and IAM platforms.
You will bridge the gap between academic knowledge and real-world SOC investigation workflows, equipping interns with practical skills for modern threat detection, response, and cloud security operations.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Live Training (1 Hour/Day): Conduct interactive, industry-focused daily training sessions covering core security concepts, incident investigation, and platform workflows.
Doubt Clarification & Mentorship: Address technical queries, assist with lab setups, and resolve troubleshooting issues on active enterprise security tools.
Simulated Workflow Guidance: Lead interns through real-world SOC investigation workflows, incident escalation procedures, log analysis, and threat hunting techniques.
Tool Exposure & Demos: Walk through operational capabilities, dashboards, search queries, and alert triage across our core technology stack.
Performance Assessment: Evaluate intern participation, consistency, and lab progress to identify top performers for long-term placement opportunities.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Industry Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, Incident Response, Detection Engineering, or Cyber Defense role.
Tool Proficiency: Practical working knowledge of at least 2–3 major SIEM, EDR, or Cloud Security platforms listed above (e.g., CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Microsoft Defender, Sumo Logic).
Training / Mentorship Aptitude: Prior experience as a trainer, lab instructor, TA, or team mentor is highly desirable.
Communication Skills: Ability to break down complex architectural and investigative concepts into easy-to-understand lessons for beginner-to-intermediate learners.
