Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Business Central / Managed IT Engineer to join our international team. The ideal candidate combines deep technical experience in Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) development, customization, and accounting workflows with a strong foundation in managed IT systems — including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Windows infrastructure.
You will play a key role in building, integrating, and maintaining financial and operational systems that support Wolfpack’s clients in accounting automation, ERP reporting, and IT reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions — including extensions, AL code development, custom pages, tables, and reports.
Configure financial modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Banking, and Inventory.
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to translate financial processes into automated Business Central workflows.
Integrate Business Central with external systems (CRM, payroll, POS, or proprietary tools) using APIs, web services, or middleware.
Design and deploy automation using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps).
Maintain backend infrastructure — Azure, Windows Server, SQL, networking, and endpoint management.
Support data migration, ETL processes, and reporting pipelines for financial and operational data.
Ensure high standards of data integrity, security, and compliance (SOX, HIPAA, or municipal requirements).
Develop custom financial and operational dashboards and KPIs using Power BI.
Implement backup, monitoring, patch management, and IT best practices for client systems.
Document solutions, configuration standards, and operating procedures.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
4+ years (mid-level) or 7+ years (senior-level) experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV development and support.
Strong understanding of accounting workflows and ERP logic (journal entries, subledgers, reconciliation, posting groups).
Proficiency in AL language, Business Central extensions, API integration, and data migration tools.
Strong background in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and Dynamics SDK.
Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
Hands-on expertise in Azure AD, Microsoft 365 administration, Windows Server, and network management.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to support accounting users and technical teams alike.
Preferred Skills:
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Business Central Functional Consultant, Dynamics 365 Developer, or Azure Administrator.
Experience integrating QuickBooks, Dynamics GP, or third-party accounting platforms with Business Central.
Familiarity with multi-entity accounting, currency management, and reporting automation.
Understanding of ITIL processes, data security, and cloud governance.
Experience with U.S. or Canadian accounting standards is a plus.
