Company Description
TrueCareCost is an emerging healthcare technology platform dedicated to making medical pricing transparent and accessible. The organization’s mission is to empower patients and providers with tools to compare costs for procedures, tests, and treatments so they can make informed, cost-effective decisions. TrueCareCost is currently developing a user-friendly website and mobile app that will enable users to compare prices across hospitals, clinics, and labs, including insurance-adjusted pricing. In addition, TrueCareCost operates a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) division that supports healthcare providers with billing, claims, and related operational processes. The platform is focused on helping individuals find affordable options without compromising quality, with a broader vision of healthcare decisions guided by clarity, affordability, and trust.
Role Description
This temporary, remote Intern – Research & Data Operations role supports the development of TrueCareCost’s healthcare pricing platform as well as its RCM division. The intern will assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing healthcare pricing and provider data from multiple sources, while also contributing to data and operational tasks related to the RCM division. Daily tasks may include conducting online research, and supporting basic data analysis across both areas of the business.
In addition, the intern will make sales calls and follow-ups as part of outreach efforts to generate leads and support business development. The intern will collaborate with team members to document data sources, maintain data-quality standards, and help prepare simple reports or summaries for internal stakeholders.
This is primarily a non-monetary role that provides a work certificate upon successful completion. Performance-based incentives may be offered for successful lead generations. The position offers valuable exposure to healthcare technology, data operations, research processes, revenue cycle management, and sales outreach in a mission-driven environment.
