Associate Territory Manager - Joint Replacement - Christchurch, NZ
Join Stryker's Joint Replacement division and support a portfolio that helps surgeons perform hip and knee replacement procedures across Christchurch and the South Island region. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in medical device sales while working with leading orthopaedic technology, including Stryker's MAKO robotic-arm assisted platform.
You'll partner with experienced Territory Managers, gain hands-on clinical and commercial experience, and develop the technical expertise needed to succeed in a high-performance healthcare environment.
What You Will Do
Support surgeons during hip and knee replacement procedures.
Provide clinical and technical support in operating theatres.
Learn and support MAKO robotic-assisted surgery technology.
Build relationships with surgeons, nurses, and theatre staff.
Partner with Territory Managers to execute territory plans.
Assist with account management and sales growth activities.
Prepare surgical cases, instruments, and implant logistics.
Maintain product knowledge across Joint Replacement technologies.
What You Will NeedRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Biomedical Science, Physiotherapy, Nursing, Engineering, Exercise Science, Business, or a related discipline.
Valid New Zealand driver's licence (or the ability to obtain one).
Ability to travel regularly throughout Christchurch and the South Island region.
Ability to work in operating theatre environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare, medical devices, clinical support, pharmaceuticals, sales, engineering, or a customer-facing role.
Experience supporting healthcare professionals or customers in a technical environment.
Experience coordinating equipment, inventory, logistics, or project-based activities.
Exposure to orthopaedics, surgery, rehabilitation, sports medicine, or implantable medical devices.
