Role Description The Clinical Research Coordinator at M/S KIMS Hospital Pharmacy is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The coordinator will manage day-to-day clinical research activities, including participant screening, recruitment, and scheduling. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining study documentation, ensuring adherence to approved protocols, coordinating with investigators and pharmacy staff, and overseeing investigational product accountability. The role involves obtaining and documenting informed consent, supporting data collection and entry, monitoring study progress, and assisting with regulatory submissions and ethics committee communications. The coordinator will work closely with clinical and pharmacy teams to ensure that studies are conducted in compliance with institutional policies, good clinical practice (GCP), and applicable regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of informed consent processes and participant rights, with demonstrated ability to explain study information clearly and ethically.
Experience working with clinical research protocols, including protocol implementation, deviation management, and adherence to GCP standards.
Clinical research experience in a hospital or academic setting, with familiarity in coordinating clinical trials and managing study timelines.
Knowledge of clinical trials operations, including data collection, documentation, and compliance with regulatory and ethics committee requirements.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in pharmacy, nursing, life sciences, or a related health discipline.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and study participants.
Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced clinical environment, manage multiple studies or tasks, and maintain professional conduct with patients and staff.
Familiarity with electronic data capture systems and basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office) is beneficial.
Prior exposure to hospital pharmacy operations or medication management in research settings is an added advantage.
