Shift Manager - In Room Dining (Available to work both SWING & GRAVE Shift)

About the Role
The Shift Manager-In Room Dining assists the Manager In Room Dining in overseeing the day-to-day management of the In Room Dining Operation.
Position Responsibilities
Ensures that service is carried out in accordance with established policy
Responsible for controlling labor and other operating costs
Trains and evaluates all In Room Dining personnel and enforces food and beverage policies and procedures
Facilitates communication between various hotel, casino Departments and the In-Room Dining and Amenity Department to ensure courteous and prompt service
Ensures sanitation compliance throughout In Room Dining
Handles customer complaints
Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility
Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility
Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays
Adheres to federal, state and local laws and regulations
All other duties as assigned
The ability to handle all types of guest related situations
Essential Functions
The ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, lift, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat and grasp
Must be able to walk and stand for entire shift
The ability to work in a high-pressure environment
Must have ability to sit and work from a computer for extended periods
Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, secondhand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast paced environment.
Must be able lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
Requirements
High school diploma or GED with three years’ supervisory experience in Room Service and/or full-service restaurants is preferred
The ability to effectively communicate in English

Our cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $46,500-$60,500 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise and may vary from the amount listed above.
