Role Description This is a full-time remote MERN Full Stack Developer Internship role. The intern will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) under the guidance of senior developers. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end user interfaces, building and integrating back-end APIs, fixing bugs, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, assist in deploying applications, and help optimize performance and security. The role also involves learning and applying best practices in software development, version control, and documentation.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development, including React, JavaScript, HTML, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development using Node.js, Express.js, and working with RESTful APIs and databases such as MongoDB.
Candidates should possess skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, including basic software design principles, debugging, and testing.
Candidates should possess familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git), package managers (e.g., npm or yarn), and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn modern web technologies and best practices.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, team-oriented environment.
Pursuing or having completed a degree or formal training in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is beneficial.
Any exposure to UI/UX principles, cloud platforms, or agile development methodologies is an added advantage.
