Senior Product Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
You will join a product driven engineering team focused on building end to end solutions for the energy sector. The role blends customer discovery, delivery, and engineering culture to create production grade experiences. The team values ownership, adaptability, and impact for both business and users.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Engage with customers to understand problems and translate insights into actionable product decisions.
- Deliver end to end features from discovery through production across the stack.
- Leverage AI native tooling to accelerate development and maximize impact.
- Own zero to one initiatives such as dunning workflows or portal re engineering.
- Prioritize work, decide what to build, skip, or sunset initiatives as needed.
- Address core energy retail challenges including billing, procurement, retention, and cost optimization.
- Shape engineering culture, tooling, processes, and contribute to team growth.
- Adapt quickly to new tools and bring the team along the learning curve.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Track record of shipping real end to end product work with strong full stack capabilities.
- Comfort owning end to end systems and hands on technical contribution.
- Interest or experience in energy retail domains such as billing, procurement, retention, or cost optimization.
- Fluent usage of AI native development tools as force multipliers.
- High ownership, strong judgment, and ability to thrive in ambiguity and early stage environments.
- Evidence of technical excellence through shipped projects, competitions, open source, or similar work.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range: 80,000 - 120,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
LOCATION
Primary location: Berlin, Berlin state, Germany. On site in Berlin five days per week.
