Senior Founding Full Stack Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are building a consumer membership platform and data infrastructure for an early stage company in the AI x ecommerce space. You will own the entire engineering function from product and frontend to backend and data, shaping the technical direction and delivering the MVP and beyond.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the membership MVP launch on a partner platform and drive subsequent product and infrastructure iterations.
- Improve page performance, third party integrations, and the overall user experience across web and mobile surfaces.
- Ensure privacy compliance tooling and data handling stay aligned with regulations and best practices.
- Make architectural decisions around stack, security, databases, and vendor relationships.
- Lead the development of a consumer mobile app, prioritizing iOS, from the ground up.
- Build AI powered agents and internal tools with monitoring, evaluation, and human in the loop safeguards.
- Create automation, internal tooling, and workflows to reduce manual work across functions.
- Collaborate with leadership to address high priority problems and balance product and infrastructure trade offs.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong CS fundamentals with a track record shipping consumer software in production.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and either Python or Node.js.
- Hands on experience with ecommerce platforms and native mobile app development, ideally iOS first.
- Experience shipping web apps with performance optimization and working knowledge of privacy compliance tooling.
- Ability to make architectural and security decisions with minimal guidance.
- Experience building and deploying AI powered tools or agents a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range provided: 130000-200000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship policy available upon discussion.
