Asset Recovery Branch Head

Role Description: The Asset Recovery Branch Head is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Kolkata Area. This role is responsible for leading branch-level asset recovery operations, including monitoring overdue accounts, planning and executing recovery strategies, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines. The Asset Recovery Branch Head oversees negotiation and settlement activities with customers, coordinates with legal teams and external agencies as needed, and prepares regular reports on recovery performance and portfolio health. The role includes guiding and mentoring team members, optimizing processes to minimize non-performing assets, and collaborating with other branches and departments to improve overall asset quality.
Qualifications : Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to assess asset portfolios, identify risk patterns, and prioritize recovery actions.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for engaging with customers, negotiating settlements, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Candidates should possess Asset Management skills to manage stressed assets, monitor recovery progress, and implement effective strategies.
Relevant experience in asset recovery, credit control, or risk management in banking or financial services.
Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in using banking systems, MS Office tools, and data reporting platforms.
Graduate degree in Law, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field; postgraduate or professional certifications in banking or finance are an advantage.
Familiarity with local market dynamics and regulatory environment in the Greater Kolkata Area is beneficial.
Minimum 10+ PQE in BFS with 8+ years in asset recovery.
