Role Description The AR Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. This position is responsible for preparing and issuing customer invoices, recording payments, reconciling accounts receivable ledgers, and following up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections. The AR Coordinator reviews billing data for accuracy, resolves discrepancies by coordinating with operations and finance teams, and maintains organized financial records for audits and reporting. The role includes generating regular aging reports, supporting month-end closing activities, and communicating professionally with customers regarding payment terms and account status. The AR Coordinator is expected to collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to improve AR processes, support cash flow management, and uphold company policies and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret AR reports, identify discrepancies, and support process improvements.
Candidates should possess Invoicing experience, including billing preparation, payment application, and account reconciliation.
Candidates should possess Finance and Accounting knowledge, preferably with exposure to accounts receivable functions and basic bookkeeping.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams in a clear, professional manner.
Relevant qualifications include a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field, and proficiency with accounting/ERP software and MS Excel.
Additional beneficial qualifications include attention to detail, ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, familiarity with transportation or logistics billing, and a customer-service oriented approach.
