Lead Product Designer (m/w/d)

ABOUT THE ROLE
A hands-on, senior product design leader who will own design, branding and team outcomes across multiple product areas. You will collaborate closely with executives and engineering to set high standards and deliver rapid, customer-focused design.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own design, branding and the design function for multiple product areas.
- Lead hands-on product design, conduct customer interviews and shape brand direction.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to drive three product areas with continuous alignment.
- Guide the design team for website, branding and product design initiatives.
- Work with leadership and engineering for fast decisions and short feedback loops.
- Build customer understanding through regular conversations with target users.
- Define and uphold design standards across product, web and brand.
- Scale design systems to ensure consistent delivery across product lines.
- Maintain a shipping focus with high impact in daily releases and ample design latitude.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Five or more years of end-to-end product design experience with ownership across multiple product areas.
- Hands-on product design expertise in modern tools, prototyping, and user interviews.
- Experience leading or readiness to take team responsibility while remaining hands-on.
- Native-level German and professional English.
- Experience building and scaling design systems across multiple product areas.
- Brand, website and product design ownership with an analytics-driven approach.
- Experience using AI tools to accelerate design work.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range: 80,000 to 150,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship: not available.
LOCATION
Primary location: Vienna, Vienna, Austria. On-site work arrangement.
