Deployment Strategist / Success Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a dual-seat hire covering two hands-on, customer-facing roles at a seed-stage AI voice platform: a Deployment Strategist who owns customers from contract signature through first live production call, and a Success Engineer who takes over an existing portfolio of live accounts to drive adoption, retention, and expansion. Both roles sit at the intersection of technical implementation and customer outcomes, building and tuning AI voice agents that handle thousands of daily conversations for B2C businesses.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Scope customer use cases, build and tune voice agents, and manage telephony integrations to bring customers live quickly.
- Design and build end-to-end integrations into customer tech stacks including CRMs, dialers, calendars, and ticketing systems using custom function tools and webhooks.
- Monitor agent performance, optimize prompts and conversation flows, and debug integrations and call quality issues in production environments.
- Own a portfolio of accounts with clear targets: time-to-value and pilot conversion (Deployment), or net revenue retention, logo retention, and usage expansion (Success).
- Lead customer workshops and training sessions, and translate customer feedback into actionable product insights.
- Build playbooks, workflows, and documentation that make deployment and onboarding repeatable at scale.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 1+ year (Deployment) or 2+ years (Success) in customer-facing roles such as consulting, technical account management, solutions engineering, software implementation, or SaaS support.
- Hands-on experience building AI agents and workflows, with comfort across prompt engineering, APIs, and webhooks.
- Proven ability to scope, design, and deploy integrations of software agents or systems into customer backends.
- Experience managing pilot projects end-to-end with multiple stakeholders and tracking commercial outcomes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for technical integration issues in live production environments.
- Executive presence and solid business acumen, able to connect technical work to customer goals.
- Background in B2C or customer operations domains such as energy, telecom, insurance, or financial services is a plus.
- Experience with voice agents or conversational AI systems is a plus.
- Full fluency in both English and German is required.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range: EUR 75,000 to EUR 110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
Based in Berlin, Germany. The Deployment Strategist role is on-site in Berlin. The Success Engineer role may be hybrid within Europe, with travel expected.
