Talent Acquisition Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a founding recruiting role at a fast-growing AI SaaS startup, sitting directly alongside the Recruiting Lead and C-level leadership. You will build the end-to-end talent acquisition function from scratch, owning everything from sourcing strategy to offer closure, and play a central part in scaling the team to the next stage of growth.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define clear, accurate role requirements before each search begins.
- Drive active sourcing and channel activation to build high-quality candidate pipelines.
- Conduct pre-screening and screening calls that deliver clear, actionable hiring signals.
- Coordinate all stages of the hiring process to keep things moving smoothly and on schedule.
- Lead offer and employment contract negotiations through to successful closure.
- Design and implement lean, scalable recruiting processes with measurable KPIs.
- Build and maintain low-overhead administrative hiring workflows and tooling.
- Develop and execute employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
- Coordinate external partners such as payroll providers, notaries, and tax advisors.
- Support onboarding and offboarding activities as the team grows.
- Establish foundational HR processes, tools, and team culture initiatives in collaboration with the founding team.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven track record running end-to-end recruiting across diverse roles, ideally within a high-growth startup or SaaS environment.
- Experience building lean, scalable recruiting processes from the ground up and measuring their effectiveness with clear KPIs.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate employment contracts and close competitive offers.
- Familiarity with a broad range of recruiting platforms and tools, with the ability to configure and deploy them quickly.
- Strong instinct for assessing both skill fit and cultural fit from large applicant pools under time pressure.
- Experience developing and executing employer branding campaigns for recruiting purposes.
- Data-driven mindset with a structured, ownership-oriented approach to work.
- Background in recruiting or adjacent roles such as sales development is welcome; motivated candidates transitioning into talent acquisition are also considered.
- German language proficiency is required for this role.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The salary range for this role is 65,000 to 80,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
LOCATION
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vienna, Austria.
