About the Opportunity:
The RESEARCH PRODUCT MANAGER role leads the exploration and definition of emerging intelligence capabilities derived from structured news data and AI. This position is responsible for turning broad, ambiguous questions into actionable hypotheses and product requirements, directly influencing the development of scalable, data-driven products that integrate with the organization's reporting.
Responsibilities:
Lead research into complex product questions involving event intelligence, structured data, knowledge graphs, and AI systems.
Develop hypotheses, experiments, and evaluation frameworks to test product ideas.
Work hands-on with datasets using analytical tools and prototypes to validate concepts.
Design benchmarks for accuracy, timeliness, relevance, and other quality dimensions.
Identify scalable patterns for schemas, taxonomies, and scoring systems.
Translate research findings into clear product concepts and requirements.
Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to refine product quality and move prototypes to production.
Use evidence to guide product prioritization and development decisions.
Engage with customers and partners to understand workflows and validate product value.
Communicate complex ideas effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
6+ years of experience in product management, data products, AI/ML, applied research, or related analytical environments.
Proven ability to convert ambiguous problems into structured research and product recommendations.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills to interpret complex information and incomplete data.
Technical and data fluency, comfortable working with datasets and building analyses or prototypes.
Familiarity with structured data, APIs, taxonomies, knowledge graphs, and information systems.
Knowledge of modern AI systems and evaluation methods.
Strong product and customer insight to identify valuable capabilities.
Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
