Customer Service- Insurance Billing/Self Pay

Department is open 9am-9pm EST
Understand payer contracts, rules and regulations.
Understanding of insurance eligibility requirements
Understanding of insurance billing priority
Review claim denials, rejections and underpayments.
Communicate issues and offer suggestions to Management for process improvements.
Understand and apply federal and state rules and regulations, including but not limited to HIPAA, PCI Compliance regulations, PII/PHI Security.
High School diploma or GED required; College preferred.
Hospital or Healthcare (US) knowledge/experience preferred.
Contact or Call Center experience preferred.
Excellent verbal, written and communication skills required.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Minimum typing skills 60 words per minute with the ability to talk and type
Minimum 3-5 years’ work-related experience.
SMS Invision, I-series, Meditech, Epic experience a plus.
Microsoft Office experience required.
