Role Description The Academic Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida. This role involves providing individualized academic and career guidance to students, helping them choose suitable courses, certifications, and pathways aligned with their goals. The Academic Advisor will conduct counseling sessions, assess student needs and aspirations, and recommend educational programs offered by EKON. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, tracking progress, and following up to ensure successful outcomes. The advisor will also collaborate with faculty and administrative teams, support workshops or orientation programs, and contribute to student engagement and retention initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners toward appropriate academic and professional paths.
Candidates should possess solid Academic Advising and Education-related skills to interpret curricula, program requirements, and learning outcomes.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including active listening, clear verbal and written communication, and the ability to explain complex information simply.
Relevant experience in academic advisory, career services, or education management is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, Management, or a related field is preferred.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple student cases simultaneously are advantageous.
Comfort working with digital tools, student databases, and basic office software is beneficial.
