Role Description The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing HR operations and supporting a growing, mission-driven team at CanPR. This full-time, on-site role is based in Delhi, India and involves managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives. The Human Resources Manager will develop and implement HR policies, ensure compliance with local labor laws, and advise leadership on workforce planning and organizational development. Day-to-day responsibilities include partnering with managers on talent needs, resolving employee relations issues, coordinating training and development programs, and maintaining accurate HR records and reports. The role also includes contributing to a positive workplace culture that reflects CanPR’s values and supports diverse employees working on immigration and technology solutions.
Qualifications
Strong skills in recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce planning to support a scaling organization.
Experience with employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management to foster a constructive work environment.
Knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and Indian labor laws, including documentation, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
Ability to design and implement training, development, and engagement programs that enhance employee growth and retention.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
Proficiency with HRIS tools, data reporting, and basic Microsoft Office or similar productivity software.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience in a technology, startup, or service-oriented environment, preferably with exposure to immigration or global mobility topics.
Demonstrated ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, prioritize multiple tasks, and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
