Role Description The Head of Information Technology is a full-time remote role responsible for leading the company’s overall technology vision and execution. This position oversees IT operations, infrastructure, and systems that support restaurant locations and corporate functions, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing IT teams and vendors, setting and implementing IT strategy, overseeing system integrations and upgrades, and monitoring performance and cybersecurity controls. The role also involves collaborating with leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals, developing policies and procedures, and driving process improvements. The Head of IT will regularly assess emerging technologies, manage budgets, and ensure that technology supports efficient restaurant operations and an excellent guest experience.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Information Technology, including systems, applications, and security best practices.
Demonstrated experience in IT Management and IT Operations, overseeing teams, vendors, and day-to-day support activities.
Proven ability to develop and execute IT Strategy aligned with business objectives.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure management, including networks, servers, cloud services, and connectivity across multiple locations.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
Experience in multi-site or hospitality/restaurant environments preferred.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize, plan, and deliver initiatives on time and within budget.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote setting and partner with non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with data privacy, compliance standards, and cybersecurity frameworks.
Ability to lead change, mentor team members, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
