We are looking for a Java Developer in Vilnius!
A competitive monthly salary of 5000-6000 EUR gross, based on experience, education, and competencies, plus an annual performance-based bonus
Hybrid model - 1 day on site, and 4 days remote!

About the Role
The Java Developers assist in designing software systems in accordance with business needs, write maintainable and well-tested code, and take responsibility for the delivery and maintenance of developed software as part of their Product Development teams.
Technical skills
Experience working with Java in an enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of Java fundamentals.
Experience developing web applications.
Experience working with relational databases.
Strong experience in implementing web applications.
Strong experience working within a defined software development process (e.g.,Scrum, Kanban).
Strong experience using software development toolchains (e.g., version control systems, IDEs, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, test frameworks, issue tracking and project management tools).
Proven knowledge of design patterns.
Experience maintaining and supporting production-critical systems.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Soft skills
Good written and verbal communication skills in Lithuanian and English.
Ability to work effectively as a team member.
Ability to share knowledge with team members.
Ability to work independently.
Nice to have
Experience with AWS.
Java certifications.
Experience in building fintech solutions.
Experience working in a mid- to large-scale IT organization (at least 40 members).
Experience with front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
Experience building and supporting high-load web applications and solving scalability issues.
Responsibilities
Cooperate with team members and architects to develop reliable business solutions.
Build and validate new functionality covered by unit, integration, and acceptance tests.
Ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
Conduct code reviews.
Stay up to date with the latest technological developments and anticipate future product needs.
Continuously improve the technical stack.
Participate in the hiring process of new talent.
Deliver value as part of the product development team using Scrum or Kanban frameworks.
