SAP FICO expert with e-invoicing

ROLE: SAP FICO with expertise in eDocument/e-invoicing for France and Spain
LOCATION: REMOTE
The resource will work closely with Solution Architect to develop and finalize the end-to-end solution design and will take responsibility for driving the solution through implementation, testing and deployment.
The role will require coordination across local and global IT, Finance and Tax teams, as well as SAP support as needed, ensuring regulatory requirements are translated into a practical, scalable and supportable end-to-end solution. Key responsibilities will include:
Work with the Solution Architect to define and document the end-to-end France and Spain solution design.
Take ownership of the implementation and delivery of the agreed solution through build, testing and deployment. Coordinate activities and requirements across local and global IT, Finance and Tax resources.
Translate e-invoicing and e-reporting requirements into SAP functional, data and integration requirements.
Define SAP source-data mappings, business rules, interfaces, exception handling and reconciliation requirements. Work with the internal technical teams to deliver and validate the required integrations.
Lead/support SIT and UAT, including test preparation, defect resolution and end-to-end validation. Identify solution, data and process gaps and work across the relevant teams to drive these through to resolution.
Required Experience The successful candidate must have hands-on SAP eDocument implementation experience with a strong understanding of how SAP eDocument/e-invoicing solutions are designed, configured, integrated and deployed to meet differing country-specific regulatory requirements. They should also have: Strong SAP FI/AR functional and technical knowledge.
Proven delivery experience across the full e-invoicing implementation lifecycle, from solution design through build, testing and production deployment.
Experience integrating SAP with external e-invoicing platforms, government platforms and/or accredited service providers is an advantage.
Experience translating regulatory and tax requirements into detailed SAP data, functional and integration designs.
Direct implementation experience with France e-invoicing would be an advantage
