Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud / DevOps Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team.
In this role, you will design, build, automate and operate secure, scalable and highly available cloud platforms for our clients. You will work closely with architects, software engineers, QA engineers, security teams and product teams to establish modern DevOps practices, automate infrastructure and application delivery, and improve the reliability and operational efficiency of cloud environments.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Kubernetes, CI/CD automation and cloud operations, with a good understanding of networking, security and software engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering:
Design, implement and operate secure, scalable, highly available and resilient cloud infrastructure on AWS, Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Design and manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
Implement cloud-native architectures supporting microservices and modern application platforms.
Work with solution and cloud architects to translate architecture designs into production-ready cloud environments.
Support multiple environments including development, testing, staging and production.
Infrastructure as Code & Automation:
Design, develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and deployment processes.
Implement configuration management and operational automation using tools such as Ansible.
Develop automation scripts and tooling using Bash, Python and/or Go.
Promote reusable infrastructure modules, automation standards and engineering best practices across projects.
CI/CD & DevOps:
Design, implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or equivalent platforms.
Autom
