Mid-Level Fullstack Developer ( Java + Angular )

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Mid-Level Fullstack Developer (Java + Angular) based in Brazil.
This role offers the opportunity to build and evolve fullstack applications for a major client in the financial services sector.
You will work across both backend and frontend development, using modern Java and Angular technologies.
The position combines software engineering, distributed architecture, APIs, microservices, and modern frontend practices.
You will collaborate closely with teammates and clients in a highly collaborative, agile environment.
The role provides space to contribute to technical decisions, solve complex problems, and continuously improve solutions.
You will also work with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
A proactive mindset, strong communication, and ownership of deliveries are essential to making an impact in this role.
Accountabilities
Develop and maintain fullstack applications using Java and Angular within a financial services environment.
Build backend solutions using Java 17, 21, or 25 with Spring Framework and CDI.
Develop modern frontend applications using Angular 21, SASS, and appropriate styling practices.
Design and integrate RESTful APIs while working with SQL Server, distributed architectures, microservices, and microfrontends.
Contribute to applications and services using Node.js and TypeScript where required.
Apply DevOps and CI/CD practices using tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, Sonar, Fortify, DAST, and Docker.
Develop, execute, and automate software tests to maintain application quality and reliability.
Work with cloud technologies, preferably within Azure environments.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan, develop, and deliver solutions.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients, contributing to technical discussions and solution development.
Take ownership of assigned deliveries, proactively identify issues, and contribute to practical problem resolution.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help create a collaborative, high-quality engineering environment.
Requirements
Professional experience developing applications with Java 17, 21, or 25 using Spring Framework and CDI.
Hands-on experience with Angular 21 and modern frontend development.
Knowledge of SASS and frontend application styling.
Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL Server, distributed architecture, microservices, and microfrontends.
Knowledge of Node.js and TypeScript.
Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools, including Bitbucket, Bamboo, Sonar, Fortify, DAST, and Docker.
Knowledge of software testing execution and automation.
Experience or familiarity with cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
Experience working with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills when working with both technical teams and clients.
Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and commitment to delivery.
Collaborative and proactive approach, with a strong focus on problem solving.
Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team.
Knowledge of mobile application development is a plus.
Knowledge of accessibility practices is a plus.
Experience with automated testing tools such as Spock, JUnit, and Jest is advantageous.
Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, and Xray is a plus.
