About UTKARA
UTKARA is a growing premium Indian food brand focused on quality snacks and products with a strong emphasis on “Goodness You Can Trace.”
We are expanding our retail presence in Bhubaneswar and nearby markets and are looking for a Sales Field Executive who enjoys being on the ground and building business from the market.
🎯 What You'll Do
Visit retail stores, supermarkets, dry-fruit shops, premium grocery stores and other potential outlets
Introduce UTKARA products and explain product features, flavours and pricing
Generate new retail accounts
Take orders and follow up for repeat orders
Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers
Identify new sales opportunities in assigned areas
Coordinate product sampling and promotional activities
Monitor competitor products, pricing and market activity
Maintain daily sales/outlet visit reports
Follow up on payments where required
Work towards monthly sales and outlet-acquisition targets
👤 What We're Looking For
Good communication and convincing skills
Comfortable with field sales and daily travel
Positive attitude and willingness to approach new customers
Ability to negotiate and build retailer relationships
Basic knowledge of smartphones, WhatsApp and Google Maps
Self-motivated and target-oriented
Prior FMCG/food/dry-fruit sales experience is a plus
Two-wheeler + valid driving licence preferred
💼 Experience
Preferred: 1–3 years in FMCG / food / retail sales
Freshers can apply if they have:
Strong communication skills
Confidence to approach retailers
Willingness to travel
Genuine interest in sales
💰 Compensation
₹15,000–₹25,000/month + travel allowance + performance incentives
Compensation can be adjusted based on experience and sales capability.
📍 Initial Market
Bhubaneswar → Cuttack → Khordha → nearby markets
The role will initially focus on building UTKARA's retail network in Bhubaneswar.
