Role Description
The Immigration Paralegal (English / Russian) is a part-time, remote role supporting immigration attorneys and clients with bilingual legal assistance. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and organizing immigration forms and legal documents, drafting cover letters and supporting statements, and maintaining accurate case files. The paralegal will conduct legal and factual research on immigration issues, visa categories, and relevant regulations, while tracking deadlines and case progress. The role also involves communicating with clients in both English and Russian to collect information, clarify requirements, and ensure that all documentation is complete and compliant. Collaboration with legal team members, careful attention to detail, and adherence to confidentiality standards are essential.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Law and Immigration Law, with a solid understanding of legal principles and procedures.
Candidates should possess skills related to Immigration Issues and Visas, including familiarity with common visa types and immigration processes.
Candidates should possess skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing forms and supporting evidence.
Fluency in English and Russian, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Experience working in an immigration law firm or related legal environment is highly beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines, and comfort working independently in a remote setting.
Proficiency with standard office software and case management tools; familiarity with online immigration filing systems is a plus.
Relevant education in paralegal studies, law, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Reliable daily availability from Monday to Friday during the morning shift (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM EST).
Compensation: $750 USD per Month
