Role Description The Private Banker is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for managing and growing relationships with UHNI and HNI clients. The individual will provide tailored advisory on investment solutions across asset classes, develop and implement holistic financial plans, and oversee asset allocation strategies to meet clients’ objectives and risk profiles. Day-to-day tasks include conducting portfolio reviews, monitoring performance using the firm’s technology platforms, and recommending adjustments based on market developments and client needs. The role involves close collaboration with research, investment banking, and estate planning teams to deliver integrated wealth solutions, as well as proactive business development to acquire and deepen client relationships. The Private Banker is expected to maintain high standards of regulatory compliance, documentation, and reporting while delivering a superior client experience.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Finance and Investments, with the ability to interpret market trends and product features to advise clients effectively.
Demonstrated expertise in Private Banking, including relationship management for UHNI clients and delivery of bespoke wealth solutions.
Proficiency in Financial Planning and Asset Allocation to construct and maintain diversified portfolios aligned with client goals and risk appetite.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric approach and high ethical standards.
Prior experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or private banking; exposure to equity, fixed income, and alternative investments is an advantage.
Comfort with using technology platforms for portfolio monitoring, analytics, and reporting.
Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, NISM) are beneficial.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet performance targets, and collaborate effectively with internal product, research, and advisory teams.
