Role Description The Head of Medical Services – IVF and Fertility will lead and oversee all clinical fertility and IVF services at Iswarya Fertility Center in Chennai. This full-time, on-site role includes supervising medical teams, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and care. The role involves reviewing and planning treatment protocols, conducting consultations and procedures, monitoring treatment outcomes, and coordinating multidisciplinary care. The Head of Medical Services will also be responsible for quality assurance, regulatory compliance, staff training, and collaboration with management on service development and clinical strategy. Regular responsibilities include mentoring junior clinicians, participating in case reviews, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting patient education and counseling.
Qualifications
Advanced clinical expertise in IVF, fertility treatment, and reproductive medicine, with the ability to manage complex cases and oversee treatment protocols.
Proven leadership and team management skills, including supervising medical staff, mentoring clinicians, and fostering a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Strong knowledge of clinical governance, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements related to fertility and assisted reproductive technologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient counseling, multidisciplinary collaboration, and clear documentation.
Medical degree (MD/MS or equivalent) with specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Medicine, or a closely related field; relevant certifications or fellowships in IVF and fertility are highly desirable.
Experience working in high-volume fertility or IVF centers, with a track record of improving clinical outcomes and patient experience.
Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage a full-time schedule, and adapt to evolving clinical practices and technologies.
