About The Role
Reporting to the Director, Commercial Operations, the Manager, Global Sales Operations leads and develops Seequent’s global sales operations function. You’ll set functional direction and ensure consistent delivery across the customer-order lifecycle, licensing fulfilment, invoicing support, compliance reporting and related quote-to-cash activities.
Leading through regional Team Leads and senior contributors, you’ll be the senior escalation and advisory point for Global Sales Operations. You’ll partner across Seequent and Bentley Systems to strengthen processes, systems, controls, automation and organisational capability while balancing strategic priorities with operational delivery.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Lead and develop the global sales operations function through Team Leads, setting strategy, priorities, operating standards and performance expectations across regional teams.
Coach Team Leads and senior contributors, strengthening succession, capability, cross-regional consistency and a connected global team culture.
Own the global transactional advisory model and coordinate high-risk escalations for complex, non-standard, high-value or time-critical transactions.
Provide governance across the customer-order lifecycle, including quote approvals, closure review, licensing enablement, invoicing support, compliance reporting and controls.
Use reporting and trend analysis to oversee workflow health, service levels, quality outcomes, regional consistency and period-end operational readiness.
Prioritise the GSO improvement portfolio and sponsor scalable quote-to-cash, licensing, invoicing and contract management improvements, including automation and responsible use of AI.
To be successful in this role you should have:
At least 8 years’ demonstrated leadership experience in global sales operations, commercial operations, order management or a comparable quote-to-cash function.
Experience leading people through other leaders or coordinating multiple regional teams and shared functional resources.
A strong understanding of the order lifecycle, licensing, invoicing, controls, compliance and cross-functional transaction governance.
The ability to provide commercially aware advice, make sound decisions in ambiguity and communicate risk clearly to senior stakeholders.
Experience sponsoring process, systems, automation or transformation initiatives and translating strategy into sustained operational outcomes.
Strong analytical, prioritisation, stakeholder management, written and verbal communication skills, supported by curiosity, patience and a continuous-improvement mindset.
A degree, diploma or certificate in Business Administration or a related discipline is advantageous, but not essential.
Location and additional information
This is an office-based role and may be based in multiple locations. Given the global distribution of the Global Sales Operations team, you may need to facilitate or attend calls and meetings across different time zones. Occasional travel may also be required, depending on business needs.
The role leads Team Leads, Global Sales Operations, shared functional resources and other roles as designated.
