Role Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Jr. Quality Engineer / Quality Inspector to ensure that all
incoming materials, manufactured components, and finished products meet the company's
quality standards.
The candidate will be responsible for inspection, testing, documentation, vendor
coordination, and root cause analysis of quality issues to ensure consistent product quality
and customer satisfaction.
IDEAL PROFILE
Good understanding of engineering drawings, dimensional
inspection, and mechanical components.
 Familiarity with measuring instruments such as Vernier callipers,
micrometres, height gauges, dial indicators, and related inspection
tools.
 Basic knowledge of quality control methods and documentation.
 Good communication and coordination skills for interacting with
vendors and internal departments.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for maintaining inspection
records and reports.
 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
 Attention to detail and a systematic approach to inspections.
 Ability to identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
 Knowledge of acceptance testing procedures for mechanical
assemblies is an added advantage.
 Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently.
Key Deliverables for this position
Perform quality inspection of all incoming bought-out materials as per approved inspection standards.
 Carry out quality inspection of all incoming machined and manufactured components.
 Conduct final inspection and acceptance testing of assembled products before dispatch.
 Record inspection results and maintain quality records.
 Coordinate with vendors to resolve quality issues related to rejected materials and ensure timely
corrective actions.
 Investigate customer complaints related to product quality, identify the root cause, and implement
corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
 Prepare, maintain, and update inspection checklists, quality procedures, inspection reports, and other
quality-related documents for incoming materials and finished products.
 Ensure compliance with company quality standards and established inspection procedures.
Work closely with the production, design, and procurement teams to improve product quality and
reduce defects.
 Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability and manufacturing quality.
Qualification
Diploma (Mechanical) (after 12th), or
BE (Mechanical)
