Role Description The Manager Analytical Development will lead the development, validation, and optimization of analytical methods to support product quality and innovation in air care, personal care, home care, spiritual and food categories. This full-time, on-site role based in Mysore involves overseeing laboratory activities, guiding analytical scientists and technicians, and ensuring robust methods for raw materials, in-process checks, and finished products. The role includes collaborating with R&D, quality control, and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot analytical issues, support new product development, and maintain regulatory and internal compliance standards. The Manager will be responsible for preparing for periodic NABL audits, technical documentation, method validation reports, and analytical protocols, as well as implementing best practices in data integrity, safety, and continuous improvement within the lab environment.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Analytical Methods Development and Method Development for complex formulations and raw materials.
Candidates should possess solid Quality Control skills, including setting specifications, validating methods, and interpreting analytical data for decision-making.
Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including working with analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, GCMS, spectroscopy) and maintaining good laboratory practices.
Candidates should possess experience in Research and Development (R&D), NABL audit, supporting new product development, process optimization, and technical problem-solving.
Relevant qualifications include a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
Beneficial skills include experience in FMCG or fragrance/incense industries, familiarity with regulatory and safety standards, strong data analysis capabilities, and proven team leadership.
