Hardware Design Engineer

The company is a leading manufacturer of gas and liquid analyzers for process, combustion, emission, and renewable energy applications.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Hardware Design Engineer role based in Thane. The Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing electronic hardware for gas and liquid analyzer products, including circuit design, hardware architecture, and component selection.
Educational Qualification: BE / B.Tech. / ME / M.Tech. in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Instrumentation Engineering
Eligibility:
1. Good experience in Analog and Digital circuit design
2. Good experience in design around microcontrollers and Microprocessors.
3. Good experience in signal conditioning circuits for Voltage, Current, Temperature, etc.
4. Good experience with small power supply using LDO and switching regulators
5. Good experience in writing test plans and executing of tests
6. Good experience with EMI/ EMC tests and Knowledge
7. Good experience in HW design, Schematic and CAD tools, and Layout review
8. Experience in designing BMS for battery-operated system
9. Sound experience in resolving Field/Customer anomalies, and manufacturing issues by using techniques like RCA (Root Cause Analysis)
10. Hands-on testing experience using equipment like oscilloscopes, analyzers, etc.
11. Experience in Obsolescence management of critical components like MCU, Memories, etc.
12. Experience in Value Engineering – Cost Reduction.
13. Doing necessary hands-on testing to evaluate the Hardware performance of products.
14. Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve assigned project/activity targets within boundaries of Time, Cost, and Quality.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Hardware Development and Hardware Design for embedded and industrial systems.
Candidates should possess expertise in Electronics Hardware Design and Circuit Design for analog and digital circuits.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Hardware Architecture, including system-level design and integration of sensors and communication interfaces.
Solid understanding of electronics fundamentals, signal conditioning, power supplies, and EMC/EMI considerations.
Experience with CAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout, and familiarity with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Ability to read and interpret technical datasheets, standards, and application notes, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience in instrumentation, industrial automation, or analyzer systems is an advantage, along with effective communication and collaboration skills.
