Role Description The Laboratory Technician role at Neuberg Diagnostics is a full-time, on-site position based in Jammu. The Laboratory Technician will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, handle and prepare specimens, operate and maintain laboratory equipment, and ensure proper documentation of test results. The role involves following standard operating procedures, adhering to safety and infection-control guidelines, and supporting quality control processes to maintain high accuracy and reliability of diagnostic results. The Technician will collaborate with pathologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals, assist in troubleshooting technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory workflows. Daily responsibilities also include monitoring inventory of reagents and supplies, preparing reports, and supporting timely delivery of diagnostic services to patients and clinicians.
Qualifications
Strong laboratory skills, including specimen handling, test execution, and adherence to standard operating procedures.
Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment, including operation, calibration, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
Knowledge of quality control practices in diagnostics, with the ability to follow protocols and maintain accurate records.
Well-developed analytical skills to interpret test results, identify inconsistencies, and escalate issues appropriately.
Prior experience working as a laboratory technician or in a similar clinical laboratory role.
Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related life sciences field from a recognized institution.
Understanding of safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance requirements in clinical laboratories.
Effective communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work on-site in Jammu and flexibly adjust to shift-based or extended hours as required.
