Senior Product Associate - Co-Branded Card

As a Senior Product Associate in Consumer & Community Banking Team, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.
Job responsibilities
Partners with the Product Manager(s) to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
Work closely with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, including engineering, design, data, marketing, sales, and customer support, to deliver high-quality products and solutions to customers.
Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
Drive the product development lifecycle based on Cobrand product roadmap, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Ensure the Card platform complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards for security and data protection.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a equivalent engineering field.
5+ years of product management experience.
Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
Strong understanding of APIs, Business process automation, payment processing, and card issuance technologies.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Banking, Financial Services, Fintech or payment processors is preferred.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to influence and partner / collaborate to drive cross-functional teams without authority.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Ability to analyze opportunities & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously with clear structure and clarity.
Applying design thinking (client journey, UX / UI, moments of truth) and comfortable explaining target state customer experiences to stakeholders and technology teams through wireframes and mockups. Prior work experience in API definitions and design with a good understanding of modern software stack and database knowledge a plus
MBA or advanced MS degree is a plus
