This is a remote, unpaid internship position for a duration of 6 months.
We are seeking a talented Full-stack Developer with a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering to join our team and help us create exceptional user experiences.
Role Overview
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will work closely with our design and development teams to deliver high-quality and efficient software solutions. Candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background and an interest in software development are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using React.js and Next.js.
Create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using Tailwind CSS.
Develop back-end applications using Node.js and Express.
Design and implement RESTful APIs to power our web applications.
Work with databases (SQL or NoSQL) to store and retrieve data efficiently.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end.
Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code.
Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and trends.
Qualifications
B.E. in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Strong proficiency in React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Express.
Experience with Tailwind CSS.
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interest in software development and building high-quality web applications.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress).
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Exposure to engineering software, automation, simulation, or other technical projects.
