This is a remote, unpaid internship position for a duration of 6 months.
Important Eligibility Requirement:
A B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory for this position. Candidates from Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical, Civil, or other engineering/non-mechanical backgrounds are not eligible for this role.
We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineering student/graduate with strong interest or experience in software development to join our team as a Full Stack Developer Intern. This role is focused on software development, and candidates should be comfortable working with modern web development technologies.
Role Overview
As a Full Stack Developer Intern, you will work on both the front-end and back-end components of web applications. You will collaborate with development and design teams to build, maintain, and improve software solutions.
This opportunity is specifically intended for candidates with a Mechanical Engineering background who have independently developed software skills through projects, coursework, self-learning, or other technical experience.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain front-end applications using React.js and Next.js.
Create responsive and user-friendly interfaces using Tailwind CSS.
Develop back-end applications using Node.js and Express.
Design and implement RESTful APIs.
Work with SQL or NoSQL databases to store and retrieve data efficiently.
Optimize application performance and scalability.
Collaborate with team members to integrate front-end and back-end components.
Write clean, structured, and maintainable code.
Learn and work with new technologies as required by project requirements.
Qualifications:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
Candidates must have a genuine interest in software development and web technologies.
Strong working knowledge of React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Express.
Experience with Tailwind CSS.
Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Understanding of RESTful APIs.
Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with a team.
Please note: Candidates without a Mechanical Engineering degree will not be considered for this position, even if they have strong software development experience.
