Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Android Developer, based in Kanpur with some flexibility for work from home. The Android Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing UI/UX designs, integrating APIs and third-party services, and optimizing code for reliability and scalability. The role also involves troubleshooting issues, participating in code reviews, writing clean and maintainable code, and staying current with Android development best practices and new platform features.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Mobile Application Development and building Mobile Applications for Android platforms.
Proficiency in Android Development and Android Design, including modern UI components and Material Design guidelines.
Solid foundation in Software Development principles, object-oriented programming, and version control (e.g., Git).
Experience with Kotlin and/or Java, Android SDK, RESTful APIs, and JSON.
Familiarity with Android architecture patterns (MVVM/MVP), dependency injection, and testing frameworks.
Ability to debug, profile, and optimize applications for performance and resource usage.
Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
