About the Role
We are looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Freelance Motion Designer & Video Editor to produce high-impact, dynamic social media video ads and promotional content.
If you excel at transforming raw assets, stock footage, and storyboard concepts into fast-paced, polished video creative—especially using Adobe After Effects and modern motion graphics workflows—we’d like to collaborate with you.
Key Responsibilities
Edit short-form video ads and brand content optimized for social platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Stories).
Create smooth, dynamic motion graphics, typography animations, kinetic text, and transitions in Adobe After Effects.
Customize and elevate existing template assets (e.g., Envato/Motion Array) with bespoke timing, sound design, and branding.
Handle basic sound design, audio leveling, and pacing to sync visuals tightly to rhythm and music.
Export clean, platform-ready deliverables across standard aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
Iterate quickly based on feedback and maintain organized project files and version control.
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven Track Record: A portfolio or showreel demonstrating strong motion design, dynamic pacing, typography animation, and clean visual hierarchy.
Tool Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro (familiarity with essential plugins, expressions, and template adaptation is a plus).
Speed & Autonomy: Ability to take a storyboard or script outline and turn around a solid first draft efficiently.
Attention to Detail: Precision in pacing, seamless transitions, visual consistency, and brand identity.
Communication: Reliable communication, meeting agreed deadlines, and receptive to collaborative revisions.
Engagement Details
Scope: Project-based freelance with potential for ongoing, consistent monthly creative batches.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate or fixed rate per deliverable (please state your standard rates upon application).
